sharp microwave
great oven, just the right size, looks like stainless steel. Would recomend to anyone. Great price for the unit. Only thing that would be nice is if the light came on when the door is opened, not just when the machine is running.
This microwave stopped working in 6 months!
I purchased this microwave in February. Since The day I bought this machine It would occasionally stop working, because I purchased a via m ail I was kind of lazy to send it back. It has now stopped working altogether. I am wondering if I was sent a refurbished item.
Stopped working after 1 year and 3 months
Looks nice. Reviews say good things overall. Great price. If you don't need it for more than a year or so.
We use it quite a bit. For heating coffee and leftover meals mostly. Nothing out of the ordinary. After about 6 months the coating on the buttons started to wear - there goes the looks. And after 15 months it began to infrequently stop heating. It made the same noise and the plate turned. But the food or coffee would come out cold. This infrequent behavior increased for a month until it wouldn't heat at all.
You can imagine how annoying it is to put something in the microwave 3 or 4 times for 2 minutes and sometimes come out cold or maybe you'll get lucky.
So my lesson is this: if it looks really nice and is inexpensive, then the money that should have gone on reliable parts has gone into esthetics. This is my second and last lesson. Last time is was a nice looking metal, but inexpensive fridge. Lasted a few months past the 1 year warrantee as well. And the cost to...
