Really does help with the white dust
I wish I didn't have to use these, but the area I live in has the hardest water I've ever encountered. Even with a water softener the minerals remain and create a huge amount of white dust without these. Worth it if you live in an area with hard water and don't want to spend a fortune on bottled water.
Does the job
Cartridges do the job to demineralize the water coming out of the humidifier. I don't have any complaints about his product.
replace your filter
when I use the humidifier for relief of congestion I sometimes forget to empty it immediately, you can see the build up on the filter and should be replaced--amazon carries the product, delivery was fast
