Puhlease--Enough Already!
It's a switch. It works. It replaced the broken one. Will it last +20 years like the original? I don't know. The cost was cheaper than other on-line and local sources. Shipment/delivery was timely.
Is it possible to buy on Amazon without having to write reviews? Are all the sellers on Amazon so insecure that they need constant positive feedback for supplying what is essentially a commodity? Shouldn't prompt payment and profit from the sale be enough?
Saved me $400+
The spring return on the old switch of our KitchenAid trash compactor failed and we had to manually return the switch to the standby position. Do we have to get a new compactor? No! We first went to several parts houses, but eventually found that Amazon and affiliate had one for about 60% what the parts houses wanted. They had "kits" and Amazon had "just the switch," which is cool, because the rest of the parts were fine. Well, it turns out the Amazon switch is also a "kit." I took me about 10 minutes to replace the switch, very easy, and that included looking for tools. The trash compactor is working just fine. Saved me $400 or more.
Works
This was the cheapest switch I could find for my Kitchenaid Trash compactor. Easy to install. Just make sure you unplug the unit.
