Black & Decker BL2020S 10-Speed 5-Cup Blender

PLEASE DO NOT BUY . Dies QUICKLY
I bought mine about 2 months ago, it is now dead!! I have had other blenders that have worked for years, and therefore for this to die in two months, just means this is total crap. I see other black and deckers have low ratings. so do yourself a favor and RUN, RUN away!! I didn't buy mine from Amazon but from a mall near my house.

Broken Jar Bottom
Really an inferior product and frankly from the other complaints I've seen and read, all those consumers that have broken jar bottoms causing leaks probably have a class action law proceeding in the bag.

Yes, my jar bottom cracked upon second use. The piece is not properly engineered.

And a replacement part is $12?!?!

I have bought many Black and Decker products over the years: tools, toaster ovens, etc.

The last "stainless toaster oven" began to rust within two weeks of use.

No more abuse from Black and Decker. I don't like to buy garbage at any price. That's what my relationship with this company has turned into.

I'm done here. I will not buy another iece

Broke on first use and leaks!
I bought this blender to make smoothies and mixed drinks, but the first time I brought it out and tried to blend watermelon, the blender just kept leaking! I unscrewed the bottom and discovered that the plastic ring to keep the leak was already broken, the first time! Serves me right for trying to buy something cheap when I should've just spent the extra money and gotten a magic bullet. Stay away!
