Galvanized vent hood
This item is much sturdier than the plastic and aluminum ones sold everywhere. It should last forever. The only thing I did not like is that the mounting holes on the flange are very close to the hood itself, which made it difficult to nail or screw without risking denting the hood. Good buy for the price, even though shipping cost nearly as much as the item itself.
Quality Dryer Vent Hood
If you need a quality dryer vent hood, look no further. This one is very sturdy and I got it to replace a cheap ACE Hardware aluminum vent. It looks great on the side of my corrugated steel shed.
Real Metal, Sturdy.
This is all galvanized steel and even with shipping charges it is cheaper than the cheap plastic and tin (aluminum foil like) vent that I got at my local big box national home improvement store for $9.99. When this one arrived I promptly returned the one I got from the big box store.
This product is substantial and well made, I recommend.
